Although not considered one of the Ten Towns, Dwarven Valley is a sizeable settlement of a few hundred Shield Dwarves living in complexes beneath the valley. Kelvin’s Cairn itself is mostly unihabited these days, though some dwarven complexes remain below the imposing mountain.
Most dwarven inhabitants of the valley and Cairn have migrated south to Gauntlgrym, leaving the massive city lagely abandoned.
Dwarves from Dwarven Valley trade with the Ten Towns, mainly Brynn Shander, but mostly stick to themselves during the prolonged night. Relations with the Ten Towns are cold, due to rumors of dwarves stockpiling goods and ale. In reality the dwarves are suffering scarcity and struggling to survive just like everyone else.
