Lynaea has recovered a cloak that can be used to travel to the Astral Plane. This journey is not one to be taken lightly, as the Astral Plane is vast and dangerous. It is inhabited by unimaginably alien creatures and populated by the enigmatic Gith.
Fiends, Celestials and Slaad all use this plane as a shortcut to conduct business elsewhere. The Astral Plane can be used to travel to the Outer Planes such as Mechanus, Baator, the Abyss, or Mount Celestia.
Deities are laid to rest in the Astral plane. These deities form massive god-islands, used as a habitat by denizens of the Astral Plane.
Travellers to the Astral Plane will emerge from a silvery pool in empty space. This pool leads back to their point of origin on the Prime Material plane. The traveller will experience time but return to the prime material at nearly the exact second they left, as if no time had passed at all.
