Bremen

Bremen is a small fishing village with a population of around 150 people. Isolated from the other ten towns by catastrophic levels of snowfall. Every day the people of Bremen re-open laneways through the ice in the lake so they can continue fishing.

Once known as a place where amateur prospectors could pan for gold in the Shaengarne River that runs alongside the town. The river has frozen making prospecting impossible.

The ‘Buried treasures inn‘ is run by the lovely Cora Mulphoon, a human whose son and business partner appears to have been enamoured by some tieflings and abandoned her to run the inn alone.

The five tavern center is a grouping of 5 taverns run by 5 brothers who all had different ideas about how a tavern should run. Even in this small town none of them hurt for business but competition is fierce

The town speaker is a venerable old dwarf named Dorbulgruf whose mind has all but been lost to dementia. search parties are a frequent affair as he has a tendency to wander off into the long night when noone is watching him.

Bremen sacrifices warmth to Auril every 2 weeks, for 24 hours no fire or source of heat can be found here.

During these harsh times Bremen has found rivals for resources among the other towns on Maer Dualdon. particularily the nearby Targos, whose policy of overfishing with widely cast nets and iron grip over regional trade have have caused consternation among the Bremish
