Easthaven is a town of 750 people led by the respected Speaker Danneth Wylen. Like other large settlements in Ten Towns, Easthaven sacrifices humanoid life by lottery, cages visible from town on the frozen shores of Lac Dinneshere.
Easthaven has grown into a frontier trader’s city. Goods from the frontier, from nomads and explorers find their way here. The city famously acknowledges its roots as a thieves port by allowing pickpocketing with city limits. Warning signs posted outside the city read “Watch thy Pockets”.
Transport by Ferry was available to Caer Dineval and Caer Konnig, but now the ferry lies trapped in the ice of the harbour, and the Caers have grown to resent Easthaven for abandoning them.

The White Lady Inn is named after a ghost who appears on Lac Dinneshere. A self-styled bard named Rinaldo sings her fabricated history every night in this inn. The proprietor, Barbatan, has heard the halflings ramblings too often to be humored by them.
Rinaldo performs seances when enough guests are present and willing to join. These occasionally result in honest communication with a local spirit, but usually end anti-climactically or worse, in supernatural violence.
Indra Argaleth serves as the stalwart captain of the guard here. More than willing to sacrifice himself for the wellbeing of any resident of this town.
